HEALTHY HOME SERVICES, LLC
MASTER SERVICE AGREEMENT & TERMS OF SERVICE
By scheduling, approving, or allowing service to be performed, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Scope of Services & Results Disclaimer
Healthy Home Services, LLC provides professional cleaning services using industry-standard equipment, tools, and cleaning solutions.
All services are intended to improve the appearance and cleanliness of surfaces. However, results will vary based on:
- material type, age, and condition
- level of soiling, staining, or contamination
- prior damage, wear, or repairs
- installation quality
- environmental conditions
We do not guarantee:
- complete stain removal
- complete odor elimination
- full color restoration
- restoration to original condition
- improvement of HVAC performance or airflow
Cleaning may reveal pre-existing damage or conditions not visible prior to service.
All services are provided as-is, without warranty, express or implied.
2. Pre-Existing Conditions & Material Limitations
Healthy Home Services is not responsible for pre-existing issues, including but not limited to:
Carpet & Flooring
- wear patterns or traffic lane damage
- fiber damage, delamination, or stretching
- permanent staining or discoloration
- dye instability or bleaching
Tile, Grout & Stone
- cracked or loose tile
- deteriorated or missing grout
- uneven or permanently stained grout
- failed or worn sealers
Upholstery & Fabrics
- weakened or worn fibers
- dye bleeding or instability
- hidden structural or internal damage
Structural Conditions
- improper installation
- subfloor or foundation issues
- prior water damage
Cleaning may expose these conditions. We are not responsible for repair or replacement.
3. Carpet, Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning
Cleaning improves appearance but cannot reverse wear, damage, or aging.
Some stains may remain or become more noticeable after cleaning due to prior damage or residue.
Protectants and treatments reduce risk but do not prevent future staining.
Dry times vary and are not guaranteed.
4. Pet Odor & Biological Contamination
Pet urine and biological contamination can penetrate below the surface into:
- carpet backing
- padding
- subflooring
Surface cleaning or treatments cannot guarantee full odor removal in severe cases.
Permanent odor may require pad or subfloor replacement.
5. Tile & Grout Cleaning / Color Sealing
Cleaning improves grout appearance but may not remove all staining.
Color sealing provides a uniform appearance and helps resist future staining but:
- does not guarantee stain prevention
- may vary due to existing grout condition
We are not responsible for grout cracking or deterioration revealed during service.
6. Rug Cleaning
Rugs vary in construction, dyes, and materials.
Cleaning may result in:
- dye bleeding or color migration
- shrinkage
- texture or fiber changes
We are not responsible for manufacturer defects, prior damage, or dye instability.
7. Air Duct & Dryer Vent Cleaning
These services remove accessible debris but do not guarantee:
- improved air quality
- increased HVAC efficiency
- airflow balancing
We do not perform HVAC repairs.
We are not responsible for:
- damaged or aging ductwork
- hidden mold or mechanical issues
- inaccessible blockages
8. Furniture & Property
We do not move:
- beds, dressers, pianos
- electronics or fragile items
- antiques or valuables
Customer must remove valuables prior to service.
Limited furniture moving is done at technician discretion.
9. Damp Surface Advisory
Surfaces may remain damp after cleaning.
Customer assumes responsibility for:
- proper ventilation
- avoiding slips or falls
We are not liable for moisture-related issues after service.
10. Deposit & Scheduling Policy
A $100 deposit is required for any service totaling $500 or more.
- Deposits are non-refundable
- Deposit is applied to final invoice
Cancellation / Rescheduling:
- Less than 72 hours notice = deposit forfeited
- New deposit required to reschedule
This policy protects scheduling, labor allocation, and lost opportunities.
11. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed.
Unpaid balances may result in:
- late fees
- collections
- legal and administrative fees
12. Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind our workmanship.
Customer must notify us within 7 days of any concerns.
We will inspect and attempt to correct valid issues.
This does not apply to:
- permanent staining
- wear or damage
- pre-existing conditions
Refunds are not guaranteed.
13. Limitation of Liability
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.
We are not liable for:
- indirect or consequential damages
- loss of use
- business interruption
14. Claims & Damage Reporting
Any damage must be reported:
- before technicians leave, or
- within 24 hours
Formal claims must be submitted within 7 days.
Failure to report constitutes acceptance of work.
15. Customer Responsibility & Safety
Service may be refused or stopped if conditions are unsafe, including:
- aggressive animals
- hazardous environments
- threatening behavior
Minimum charges may still apply.
16. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customer agrees to contact us first to resolve any issues.
Unauthorized chargebacks may result in liability for:
- service amount
- fees and penalties
- legal costs
17. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Tennessee, unless eligible for small claims court.
Prevailing party may recover legal fees.
18. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, with venue in Shelby County.
19. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays due to:
- weather
- equipment failure
- unforeseen events beyond control
20. Photography
We may take before/after photos for documentation and quality control.
21. Health Disclosure
Customer must notify us of any:
- chemical sensitivities
- allergies
- respiratory conditions
We are not responsible for undisclosed conditions.
22. Entire Agreement
This document represents the full agreement.
By scheduling service, the Customer agrees to all terms.
